Powerhouse of Influence (PHI)

The driving force behind this framework and process will be what I refer to as your Powerhouse of Influence, the internal engine that will propel you forward on your journey of personal growth. Your PHI is comprised of seven key components, which are to be saturated with what you choose to be your established beliefs, mindsets, and goals:

1. Thought life

2. Self-talk

3. Perspectives

4. Mindset

5. Self-image

6. Choices

7. Actions

Your thought life, the constant flow of thoughts that occupy your mind, persuades your self-talk, forming your perspectives, influencing your mindsets, which then determines your self-image, ultimately influencing the choices you make and the actions you take.

This inner thinking of your PHI is responsible for shaping your character, carving out your lifestyle, and forming your identity. Who you are, how you react and respond to people and situations, where you live, and the lifestyle you choose are all results of how you operate your PHI.

With consistent practice, you will learn to use your PHI to dramatically change your life for the better, forever.

Navigational Control Center

It’s easier to hold your principles 100 percent of the time than it is to

hold them 98 percent of the time.

— Clayton Christensen, author and former Harvard Business School professor[1]

Having an established navigational control center in place will help you to maintain your established internal beliefs, mindsets, and goals while simultaneously empowering you to become the internally organized, high-performance person you were created to be.

The characteristics of your navigational control center are:

● Elevated sense of self-awareness: mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical

● Commitment, consistency, persistence, perseverance

● Self-discipline, self-control, self-regulation, self-help, self-motivation, self-encouragement, self-management, self-accountability

● Proactive, resourceful, initiative taker, creative, imaginative, resilient

● On alert at all times, wise to the internal and external forces at work 24/7 trying to thwart your personal growth and success

● Integrity that never wavers
